Dean, a close childhood friend of David’s, is currently serving with the British Army. After two tours in Afghanistan, Dean now receives treatment through Help For Heroes for PTSD. David soon realised that although his challenge was physical, there would be many more out there whose challenge was more a mental one. So, they established Team Easy to raise funds for Help For Heroes and raise awareness of PTSD.  “We wanted to start a movement where talking about PTSD can be as open as any normal conversation you can have. There should be no stigma around PTSD. It’s a hidden wound” – David Word quickly spread via social media and the team has now grown to a team of 12, scattered all across the UK. The teams latest member is none other than Team GB Bronze Medallist and Invictus Games Athlete Chris Jones. The Team Recently undertook a climb to the top of Snowdon, with -20 Windchill, and were successful on their climb. We have a total of 20 OCR’s planned for this year. Our next biggest event is Rat Race Dirty Weekend 20 Team Easy was founded by David Walters. Intent on conquering Rat Race Man Vs Mountain, his challenge soon turned into something so much more.
