01732 452404 17 ForEliteAtheletes to FunRunners 2 4 567890 3 CONTENTS & COMMENTS CONTENTS With summer in full swing, lots of us are swapping mud for sun loungers and it’s often a good time for reflection. A chance to reset the clock and get planning for the season ahead. Those all important diary dates are listed on P43 and there’s a chance to win this ¼ with competitions to enter Ridge Runner, Maverick race series and Commando Series. You’ve got to be in it to win it right so be sure to enter. Do we have Spartan Trifecta readers amongst us? What a cracking season so far! We want to see your triple pieces so please do send us your pics. In fact, we want to know ALL about ALL of you. Please send us your stories and your favourite photo’s, you might just feature in our next issue, just like Helen Chapman and Pinkie on P16/17. So, over half of the year has already passed, we’re on the count down to (dare I say it….) Christmas, and have we got a cracking few months ahead. Before the sun disappears and temperatures drop, be sure to try our recipe on P22 and whilst we’re enjoying this warm spell, please stay safe and refer to P14 to make sure you’re staying well watered. We will personally be taking part in the Pull-up challenge on P41 and we’d love to hear how you get on. Contact us if you’re taking part and we’ll set up a group to keep each of you accountable. Our next issue will feature the launch of our very own TEAM and I can’t wait to share their faces with you all. That’s it from us, until next time. We hope you enjoy this issue. Stay safe, take care of each other and remember to play in the mud whenever you can. I’m off to pack my kit bag, I’ll see you all very soon.
